"T&M", what is it?

"T&M", otherwise known in the industry as
Time & Materials, is a term meaning you only pay for the amount of time we spend working on your job plus any material required.

Typically, a job done at T&M rates can save you up to 40% over an estimated price. When we give you an estimate or a proposal, we are allowing for any and all contingencies that might occur. If those potential situations do not come into play, you are paying more than you have to with an estimated price/proposal.

To see our T&M rates in writing, click on the blue T&M link near the bottom of the main homepage.

We do price check our competition annually and continue to keep our rates near the bottom of the list. Many of our competitors have minimum service calls of $240-$300 and virtually all of them have an hourly rate equal or higher than ours.

If you want an estimate, we are happy to provide one so you have a fixed price but remember, no matter how quick we get the job done, you are tied to that given price once we visit your Job Site to give a fixed price/proposal.

If you would like the best of both worlds, have us out at T&M rates to start on the smaller items and have the guys (yes, our technicians are licensed bonded & insured full time employees, not sub contractors) give you an "informal time estimate" on other items needing done. This is not an official quote but it can be very helpful in trying to establish a budget for future work.

Thank you for using Robs Jobs, LLC. We appreciate your business and value your patronage over the past 2 decades.
